Jeffrey A. Nowak is an accomplished artist who thrives on applying Christian values through multiple facets of creativity.
Raised in the small town of Bellaire, Ohio on the mid-eastern Ohio River border, Jeff’s artistic journey was realized early in life with an interest in drawing and visual arts. His gift grew through the years of his elementary education at St. John Central in Bellaire, where his constructive passion expanded into audible arts and piano lessons. Later, through junior and senior high school levels, Jeff’s musical interests were followed by a fondness for the guitar.
Adventures in secular situations developed Jeff’s music abilities, but more importantly these skills were later joined by the purpose of promoting a positive message. Collective experience eventually blended all elements to craft him into the Christian singer and songwriter he is today.
Recently, Jeff’s efforts have been focused on church music ministry and the foundation he assisted in initiating at the church associated to his alma mater. The vision is based on reviving a sound in the service reminiscent to the former “folk mass” of the 70's. In hope, the purpose of this effort is to spark an interest in the youth with a sound where they can relate and participate. This developing pursuit comes coupled with his declaration of devotion to compose contemporary praise and worship music.
Jeff is a true believer, faithfully forwarding a “form follows function” approach where communication glorifying God always - and in all ways - precedes the polished product. This is accomplished by doing our “thing” well. Then, while working at our gift and allowing it to present itself naturally, the honest intention will shine through.
Jeff is currently employed as a graphic designer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lives in the southern suburb of Bridgeville where he resides with his wife Patty.
